SUPPLY OF COMPOSTABLE PAPER CUPS TO CIAL

Sealed tenders are invited for supply of Compostable Paper cups to Cochin International Airport for a period of one year. The particulars of the tender process are as follows:

Important specifications of the paper cups	Single-use, non-toxic, recyclable, and compostable, ideal for sustainable beverage service (hot and cold). Base Paper: Food-grade virgin paper Paper Thickness: 200 GSM Internal Coating: 3–5 GSM biodegradable water-based coating Conform to ISO 17088:2021, ISO 14855-2:2018 Should have Printing of “CIAL” in bold green colour
Annual Requirement	Approximately 50-60 Lakh paper cups
Period of Contract	1 year
Tender Fee	Rs 1,000 incl. GST
EMD	Rs 1 Lakhs only
Security Deposit	EMD of the successful bidder to be treated as SD till completion of the supply contract
Last Date of submission of tender	1500 hrs on 03/09/2026
Date of opening of technical bid	1530 hrs on 03/09/2026

 

 

Eligibility Criteria for participation in the tender:

The bidders satisfying the following criteria only be eligible to participate in the tender:

1. The bidder must meet either of the following performance criteria related to the supply of compostable items, in any one of the last three (3) financial years:

• Received and supplied to one or more purchase orders from a single reputed institution aggregating to a total value of ?20 lakhs or more in a one-year period

OR

• Received and supplied to multiple orders to various clients aggregating to a cumulative value of ?40 lakhs or more in a one-year period.

2. Turnover of Rs 1 Crores in any one of the last three financial years
3. The bidder must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the supply of compostable items such as disposable cups, garbage bags, or other similar products.
4. The bidder should not be blacklisted or debarred by any government organizations or Airports.

 

The above criteria shall be referred to as the Eligibility Criteria. Tenderer must provide documentary evidence with the technical bid to support the above details.
