ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 

To be Eligible to participate in this tender, the bidder should meet the following criteria:

 

1. Experience of at least five years in Manufacturing and supply of cloth carry bags to any organization/Institution.           (Only manufacturers will be eligible to participate in this tender - valid proof to be submitted). Valid supporting documents of this Experience shall be submitted for the review of the tender evaluation committee.
2. The Bidder should have received and successfully executed orders for the supply of cloth bags amounting to the tune of two Crore or more in a single financial year, during in any one of the last five financial years (Financial Year 2020-21 to Financial Year 2024-2025) to a single organization/ institution.

 

Client Purchase orders/Client certificate and Copies of invoice to clients and a lab test Certificate on the GSM, Yarn Count, Fabric weight, Tear Strength and Fibre Composition of the sample carry bag should be submitted in ‘Envelope A-Technical Bid’.

 

SPECIFICATION OF CARRY BAGS

 

The tenderer must quote for the rate per bag as per the specification mentioned below: -

1. Cotton Cloth Bag of Size-12” width X 16” length Grey Melange (Lighter shade) Colour with Cochin Duty Free Logo / Other logo.

• 100 % cotton Grey Melange (Lighter shade) without dust
• Size :16” Length X 12” Width
• Handle size: 12? ready
• Top border with Handle stitch:1/2 inch with Fold and Hem stitch
• Handle: 38 mm handle with 100% Basket tape handle (cotton) with Double fold and Double Stitch at top
• Handle Colour: Logo colour handle
• Stitching: five threads over lock stitch at Side seams and no stitching in the bottom.
• Weight carrying capacity: up to 7 kg.
• Fabric: 310 GSM and above.
• Weaving: Thread 10’s × 5’s
• Printing: CDRSL Logo in single colour in one side/logo on both sides with Azo free Pigment Print
• Approximate requirement: 9.30 lakhs

 

2. Cotton Cloth Bag of Size-16” width X 16” length Grey Melange (Lighter shade) Colour with gazette 4 inch at the bottom with Cochin Duty Free Logo / Other logo.

• 100 % cotton Grey Melange (Lighter shade) without dust
• Size :16” Length X 16” Width
• Handle size: 12? ready
• Top border with Handle stitch: 1/2 inch with Fold and Hem stitch
• Handle: 38 mm handle with 100% Basket tape handle (cotton) with Double fold and Double Stitch at top
• Handle Colour: Logo colour handle
• Stitching: five threads over lock stitch at Side seams and 4-inch gazette at bottom.
• Weight carrying capacity: up to 10 kg
• Fabric: 310 GSM and above.
• Weaving: Thread 10’s × 5’s

• Approximate requirement: 4.45 lakhs

 

3. Cotton Cloth Bag of Size 18” Width X 18” length Grey Melange (Lighter shade) Colour with gazette 4 inch at the bottom Cochin Duty Free Logo / Other logo.

• Size :18” Length X 18” Width
• Handle size: 12? ready
• Top border with Handle stitch: 1/2 inch with Fold and Hem stitch
