Sealed item rate tenders are invited from the reputed Electrical contractors possessing valid class ‘A ‘license issued by the Kerala State Electrical Inspectorate, for the work mentioned below at Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery.
Name of work : Electrification GSE Service building at CIAL.
Estimated Cost : Rs 133 lakhs (approximately)
Period of Completion : 05 Months
Eligibility criteria :
1. Valid class “A” license issued from the KSEI for electrical installation (Attested copy of the valid license shall be submitted for this.)
2. Valid PF and ESI registration. (Copy of both registration certificates are to be submitted)
3. Executed satisfactorily at least one Electrical work in single work order for a value not less than Rs 106 lakhs or two works each of value not less than 80 lakhs during any of the previous (5) five years ending on 31-05-2024 in any reputed organization. For this the satisfactory Completion Certificate issued by the client is to be submitted. The certificate shall clearly indicate the value and components of the project, date of starting of the work and the completion date of the work. The work should be 100 % completed during the said period of the project.
4. Annual contract receipts to the tune of Rs 250 lakhs during any one of the three preceding years namely 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-23. Audited financial statements for the last three years mentioned above are to be produced as proof of the financial performance of the contractor.
Earnest Money Deposit : Rs 3, 00,000/-
(shall be submitted in the form of Demand Draft on any Nationalised/Scheduled bank payable at Ernakulam/Nedumbassery drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited.)
Cost of Tender Documents : Rs 2000/- + GST
(Can be remitted in the form of Cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited payable at Ernakulam/Nedumbassery.)

Interested agencies shall have to submit their application forms for prequalification along with necessary supporting documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria in the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport P O, pin: 683 111, on or before the date mentioned above for the pre qualification for issuing the tender document.
Tender forms shall be issued to those agencies which are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application.
CIAL reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders which are not accompanied by the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
