TENDER FOR PROVIDING SECURITY SERVICES IN THE CITY SIDE OF COCHIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Tenders are invited on behalf of the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) for providing security services in the city side area of Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, for a period of THREE years. Interested and eligible agencies may apply for prequalification. Tender documents shall be issued only to prequalified agencies:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

1.1     Security agencies, who are Indian Registered Public / Private Limited Companies or Partnerships providing security services for at least the last three consecutive years and having receipts (turnover) from security services of at least Rs.50 crores (Fifty Crores only) during any one of the last Five financial years.

And

1.2     The bidder should have at least Two years’ experience of providing security services in any Airport, seaport, Metro Rail, Refinery or similar large Industrial/Commercial establishments.

                                                                                                             And

1.3     The bidder should have a single contract value for providing security services with any of the reputed organizations with a contract value of more than Rs.2 Crore per annum in any of the last Three years.

                                                                                                             And

1.4     The Bidder needs to provide a client certificate, from the establishment/ organization specified in clause1.3 above, certifying that the bidder has complied with provisions of PF, ESI and minimum wages.

And

1.5     The bidder shall have a manpower strength of at least 1000 employees in the agency pay roll as on 31st March 2024.

                                                                                                             And

    1. The bidder should not be blacklisted from providing security services from any Airports.

2. Manpower Requirement

2.1     The successful agency must appoint uniformed and trained personnel   for the following category:

  • Security Officer
  • Security Supervisor
  • Security Guards
  • Traffic Wardens

3. Period of Contract

      Contract for providing Security Services in the Cityside area will be for a period of 3 years.

4.        Application for pre-qualification (Documents required)  

 

Last date of submission of Application for Pre-qualification is 20th June 2024 till 16:00Hrs. Interested agencies can submit their pre qualification application to the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport PO, Nedumabssery, Kerala-683 111 along with the following supporting documents.

        1. Brief profile of the Company/ Agency.
        2. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation/Partnership deed.
        3. Copy of PAN.
        4. Copy of GST Registration.
        5. PF & ESI registration Certificates.
        6. Audited balance sheet and Profit & Loss for the last 5 financial years.
        7. Certificate from Chartered Accountant to prove Rs.50 crores turnover from providing security services if they have multiple services.
        8. Client certificate to show single contract value of Rs.2 crores per annum in any of the last Three years. 
        9. Client certification to show 3 years’ experience.
        10. ECR statement or Monthly challan of PF to prove number of employees.
        11. Agencies with existing/earlier contracts at CIAL have to submit a certificate from CIAL HR department confirming statutory labour provision compliance of ESI, PF and Minimum wages.
        12. Agencies not having existing/earlier contracts at CIAL have to submit a certificate from clients for which contract copies are being submitted as per clause (viii) above confirming statutory labour provisions compliance of ESI, PF and Minimum wages.
        13. Letter of undertaking for not currently being blacklisted at Airports.

 

Agencies need to submit documents in the above order with index and tags for easy reference. Tender document will be issued to pre-qualified agencies on cost. CIAL will be conducting a Pre-bid meeting with all qualified agencies before submission of financial bids.
