Sealed item rate composite tenders are invited from reputed contractors for the work mentioned below at Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery.
Name of Work : Setting up of additional Facility for CIAL Trade Fair& Exhibition Centre- SH: Interior Works Phase I
Estimated Cost : Rs 299.83 lakhs (approximately)
Period of Completion : 6 Months.
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant may be an individual, proprietorship firm, partnership firm, company or corporation who meets the requisite eligibility criteria prescribed as under. Joint venture companies and consortiums are not permitted. If the applicant is a limited company/corporation, the application shall be signed by a duly authorized person holding power of Attorney for signing the application accompanied by a copy of the power of Attorney. The applicant should also furnish a copy of the memorandum & Articles of Association duly attested by a public notary.
Bidders should possess:
- Valid Civil ‘A’ Class & above registration in CPWD/State PWDs/MES/Railways or any Public Sector Undertakings.
- Valid PF & ESI registration
- Valid certificates ISO-9001, ISO-14001
- In house BIM (Building Information modelling) capacity to produce shop drawings.
- Successfully executed at least two LEED rated projects.
- A. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least one similar work in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 240 Lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024 Or
B. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least two similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 150 lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024.
Or
C. The bidder should have commenced and completed at least three similar works in single contract or as a part of composite contract valuing more than Rs 120 Lakhs during the last 07 years ending on 31.01.2024.
(Similar work means Interior works for Multistoried building like 5star Hotels /Airport Terminals /Convention Centers as a single contract. Attested copy of the client certificate for satisfactory completion of the work should be submitted. The certificate shall clearly indicate the components of the project, date of starting of work and the completion date of the work. In case the works are executed for Private Client, copy of the work order, list of major components of work with their value, TDS certificate for all payments received from and copy of final/last bill paid by the client shall be submitted. No documents other than above mentioned could be considered as documentary proof for work experience. Value of contract means the cost of work only. Cost of Land is not considered.
7. Annual work contract receipts to the tune of Rs. 500 Lakhs during any one of the five preceding years ending on 31.03.2023. (Audited financial statement for the last 07 years, 2015-2016, 2016-2017,2017-2018, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22,2022-23 should be produced).
The documents submitted without above documentary evidences will not be considered/evaluated. CIAL will have the right to verify the work experience certificate/bank statements as required.

Period of sale Tender Document : 19.03.2024 to 21.03.2024
Date of submission of Tender : 15.04.2024 up to 1500 Hrs.
Date of opening of Tender : 15.04.2024 at 1530 Hrs.
Interested agencies may submit all the attested copies of above supporting documents mentioned in eligibility criteria to the office of the Managing Director on or before 18.03.2024.
Tenders of only those contractors who are deemed to be qualified after scrutiny of their eligibility documents shall be evaluated. Cochin International Airport Ltd reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders not accompanied by EMD shall be summarily rejected.
