Sealed item rate tenders are invited for the below-mentioned work, from reputed ELECTRICAL contractors having “All MV with A Grade” Electrical Contractor’s license issued by Kerala State Electrical Inspectorate.

Name of work                           :  Minor Electrification works (City side, Terminals & Ancillary buildings) at CIAL.

Estimated Cost                          :  Rs 68.45 lakhs

Period of Contract                      : 24 months   

Earnest Money Deposit               :  Rs. 1,38,000/-

Cost of Tender Documents          :  Rs 1,500/- + GST

 

Bidders shall have to submit their pre-qualification application and for issuing the tender document, super scribing the name of work, along with necessary supporting documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria below, at the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport P O PIN: 683 111, on or before the date mentioned below.

 

Eligibility Criteria for the work:

 

 Tenderers shall have:

 

Executed satisfactorily at least one similar job in single contract valuing not less than Rs.55 lakhs

OR

 

Two similar jobs in separate contracts each having a value not less than Rs.28 lakhs per contract.

The contracts should have been executed during any of the last five years in any reputed organization. For this, a satisfactory completion certificate issued by the client, clearly showing the details of work, total executed value, completion date etc. is to be submitted. The completion period of the contract should be after 1^st March 2020.

 

1. Annual Turnover to the tune of Rs 110 lakhs during any one of the last five years (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24). Audited financial statements for the above last five years are to be produced as proof of the financial performance of the contractor.

 

2. Valid ‘A’ grade with All MV ‘Electrical Contractors' license issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board. The attested copy of the license shall be produced.

 

3. Valid PF registration. (Copy of the registration certificate is to be submitted).

 

4. Valid ESI registration. (Copy of the registration certificate is to be submitted).

 

Earnest Money Deposit shall be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft on any Nationalised/Scheduled bank payable at Ernakulam/ Nedumbassery drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited.

Tender forms shall be issued only to those pre-qualified agencies, that are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application.

 

CIAL reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders, which are not accompanied by the EMD, shall be summarily rejected.
