- Tenders are invited on behalf of the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) for the license for operating one Snack Bar each in the Viewing gallery & International cargo Terminal of Cochin International Airport Nedumbassery Ernakulam, District Kerala. Both the outlets will be part of one single contract.
- The license is a revenue share arrangement whereby the licensee shall pay 20% of gross monthly turnover to CIAL subject to a minimum guaranteed amount as quoted by the licensee in the bid form.
- Bare space measuring 10 Sqm each will be given at both the locations. Water connection will be provided only in the cargo outlet.
- Tea and Coffee has to be served for Rs 15/- and Rs 20/- respectively in the viewing gallery and Cargo complex for employees.
- The tenure of License will be for a period of 3 (Three) years.
- Location of one snack bar will be inside the International terminal (T3) viewing gallery and other will be inside International cargo. Both the location will be part of a single license.
- Eligibility criteria: Agencies having at least 3 years’ experience in operating a Snack bar/ food court/Restaurant with Turnover of not less than Rs.2 Crores in any one of the preceding 5 years.
- The tender documents shall be issued to interested agencies from the office of Dy. General Manager (Commercial) on payment of Rs. 2360/-, towards cost of Tender Documents in cash or by Demand Draft favouring CIAL payable at Ernakulam / Nedumbassery.
- The tender shall be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.200000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only), in the form of Demand Draft favoring “Cochin International Airport Limited” payable at Ernakulam/ Nedumbassery. The tenders without Earnest Money Deposit shall be summarily rejected.
10. Payments to CIAL: The Licensee shall pay a revenue share of 20% subject to a minimum guaranteed monthly License fee to be quoted in the bid form. The minimum bid amount is Rs.2,50,000/- (Two lakhs fifty thousand only) and the bidders shall quote in excess of this. The successful bidder shall pay every month either 20% of the sum total of the gross sales from the outlets together or the minimum guaranteed monthly License fee quoted, whichever is higher.
11. Tenders have to be submitted on or before 1500 hrs on 11th July 2025 and tenders will be opened at 1530 hrs on the same day.
