Sealed tenders are invited from reputed manufacturing firms or their authorized representatives for the supply, testing, installation and handing over of one Rapid Response Vehicle at Cochin International Airport.

Estimated Cost: Rs 100 lakhs (approximately)
Period of Completion: 05 Months
Pre-Qualification Criteria
1. The tenderer should have minimum 5 years of experience in modification of vehicle and custom designing it into Rapid Response vehicle or any other kind of specialized vehicle equipped with Emergency Rescue tools, Ultra High-Pressure System (UHPS) and communication equipment or the tenderer should be an authorized dealer of a reputed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) meeting the same experience criteria. If the dealer is participating in the tender, then an undertaking form from the original equipment manufacturer should be produced as a proof. In case of any disputes the parental organisation or the original equipment manufacturer will be responsible for the resolution.
2. The tenderer must have successfully delivered similar vehicles or shall have executed single order for specialized vehicles worth at least 50 Lakhs in total to any of the international airport or a government agency in the immediate last 7years from January 2023. If the dealer is participating in the tender, then the Original equipment manufacturer should meet the criteria and proof of the delivery shall be produced along with the undertaking form.
Year wise details of the above supply (Purchase order copies) with Name and address of clients and the certificates of satisfactory performance (for more than one-year use) from at least two end users (With Name, contact address and Email), shall be submitted as given below.

3. The audited financial statement for the preceding three years showing turnover of the company shall be submitted as proof of financial performance of the Tenderer.
4. The Tenderer should have an annual turnover of Rs. 10 Crore, in all the Three preceding years ending on 31/03/2023. (Audited financial statement for the last 03 years should be produced). Also, duly signed statement from Chartered accountant with Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) shall be obtained certifying turnover of the tenderer for the last 03 years.
5. The bidder should not have been blacklisted either by CIAL or any of the reputed organizations. Self-certification for the same shall be produced.
6. The tenderer shall provide a satisfactory report from CIAL if they have previously supplied goods or items to CIAL. The report should include details of the previous supply, including the nature of the goods/items, quantity supplied, delivery dates, and any relevant performance information.
Earnest Money Deposit: Rs 2,00,000/-
(shall be submitted in the form of Demand Draft on any Nationalised/Scheduled bank payable at Ernakulam/Nedumbassery drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited.)
Cost of Tender Documents: Rs 2000/- (inclusive of tax)
(Can be remitted in the form of Cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Cochin International Airport Limited payable at Ernakulam/Nedumbassery.)
Date of Submission of application forms for pre-qualification: 25-08-2023 before 16.30 Hrs
Period of Sale of Tenders: From 01-09-2023 to 08-09-2023 between 09.00Hrs to 16.30 Hrs
Last Date and time for the submission of Tender documents: 15.00 Hrs on 22-09-2023
Date and time of opening of the Technical bid: 15.30 Hrs on 22-09-2023
Date and time of opening of the Financial bid: Will be intimated later
Interested agencies shall have to submit their application forms for prequalification along with necessary supporting documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria in the office of the Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd., Kochi Airport P O, pin: 683 111, on or before the date mentioned above for the pre-qualification for issuing the tender document.
Tender forms shall be issued to those agencies which are found eligible after the scrutiny of their application. CIAL reserves the right to change the qualifying criteria at their discretion and to accept or reject the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The tenders which are not accompanied by the EMD shall be summarily rejected.
